FEA supports dynamic and diverse students to become Alaska's great educators!

Check out our FEA Overview video!

Welcome to Future Educators of Alaska! FEA is a statewide collaborative effort to inspire and support Alaska Native/rural K-12 students to pursue careers in the field of education. Fostering prospective teachers and administrators involves a partnership among existing teachers, communities, Alaska Native knowledge providers, school districts, University of Alaska campuses and more.

Who does FEA benefit?

Students! FEA provides Alaska Native K-12 students the opportunity to explore careers in education and meet other students also interested in education.

Teachers! FEA offers teachers the opportunity to become advisors and share their joy of the profession by encouraging Native K-12 students to become educators.

Communities! FEA helps communities "grow their own educators" by nurturing prospective Alaska Native teachers at the local level.

Colleges! FEA supports career development for Alaska Native college students and acts as a bridge for high school students who plan to enter college.

2017 Career Academy is March 23-25th!
FEA needs judges to evaluate student presentations during the Academy. If you would like to be a judge, find out more here!
