2nd Fall Regional Student Gatherings!
FEA is continuing the Regional Student Gatherings in the Southeast, Interior, Western and Arctic Regions. These Gatherings will provide middle school students with additional opportunities to network with peers without major travel expenses. These events were designed to recognize our dedicated middle school students, since the Statewide Annual Gathering has been tailored for our high school students. The Regional Gatherings are great opportunities for our younger students to participate and engage. The dynamic events will increase their interest in the education profession, knowledge about regional resources and develop leadership skills, such as team building and public speaking.
All Regional Gatherings have included a select group of FEA high school Youth Leaders who have demonstrated leadership in their local club. These individuals have been tasked with leading ice-breaker activities, assisting in presenting workshops, and providing mentoring to the middle school students throughout the duration of the event.
